Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Job (#446497)

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in St. Louis, MO. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You will be responsible for operation and quality assurance of imaging equipment, patient monitoring, and assisting providers during vascular and non-vascular procedures. The Interventional Radiology department performs procedures including central venous catheter placements/replacements, diagnostic angiograms, Y-90 mappings/treatments, gastrostomy tube placements, percutaneous nephrostomy tubes, and peripheral artery disease interventions.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Current ARRT (Radiography) certification required. ARRT Vascular/Interventional certification preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Graduate of an AMA‑approved accredited Radiologic Technologist program or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology technologist experience required. 2 years of IR experience preferred.
  • Experience in hospital-based interventional radiology with exposure to vascular procedures and complex case support.
  • Ability to work in a procedural environment with up to 9 procedure rooms and a daily caseload of approximately 6–8 procedures per technologist.
  • First-time travel clinicians accepted per client policy when meeting experience requirements.


Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT Vascular/Interventional certification.
  • Prior experience with Y-90 procedures and venous access devices.
  • Two years of IR experience with references.


Assignment Details

  • Shift hours: 07:30 – 18:00 (4x10 schedule).
  • Scheduled one Saturday 08:00 – 16:00 shift in each 13-week period.
  • Weekend on-call: Friday 16:00 through Monday 07:30. Candidate may be assigned weekend call 1–2 times during a 13-week assignment.
  • Technologist may be scheduled as backup and may occasionally remain beyond scheduled shift to support procedural workload.
