Full Description

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist – Travel Job (#446496)

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an Interventional Radiology Technologist in St. Louis, MO. Use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and neuro-interventional procedures including cerebral angiograms, coiling, stenting, embolizations, thrombectomies, venous samplings, operating room angiograms, and lumbar punctures. You will operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensure quality assurance of imaging and film processing, and monitor patients during procedures.


Minimum Requirements

  • ARRT (Radiography) required. ARRT(VI) preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Experience with C-arm and contrast required.
  • Minimum 1 year of IR or Neuro-IR experience required.
  • Daily caseload experience with 6–8 procedures per tech preferred.
  • Experience working in a hospital or interventional radiology environment preferred.
  • Ability to float within the service line as needed.
  • First-time travel clinicians accepted only with 2 years of related experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT(VI) certification.
  • Experience in neuro-interventional procedures and stroke thrombectomy support.
  • Experience staffing multiple rooms (3 rooms preferred).


Assignment Details

  • Shift Hours: 07:30 - 18:00.
  • Schedule: 4x10 day schedule.
  • Call expectation: Weeknight call rotation. Weekday call window 16:00–07:30; assigned approximately one weeknight of call every 1. Weekend call rotation runs Friday 16:00 through Monday 07:30; assigned weeknight call occurs 3–4 times in a 13-week assignment.
  • Clinician may be required to float within the service line to meet facility needs.
