Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist – Travel Job (#441044)
Become a vital part of a travel CT team as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist in Tucson, AZ. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic-quality studies in a hospital setting.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate or diploma from an approved/accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- National certification required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB/CNMT).
- State licensure required: AZ radiography or nuclear medicine licensure and CT credential prior to hire.
- CT certification requirement: Advanced certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)) required within 18 months of hire.
- BLS certification required.
- Minimum of two years of clinical CT technologist experience preferred for this position. This represents the client expectation for demonstrated clinical competence.
- Ability to perform and evaluate equipment quality control measurements and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Effective communication and human relations skills. Ability to analyze data and solve problems in a clinical environment.
- Preferred: additional related education and/or experience in acute hospital radiology environments and competence with invasive/interventional CT procedures if applicable.

- Facility Type: Hospital.
- Shift Name: Evenings.
- Shift Hours: 1300-2330.
- Assignment Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
- Role: Acute CT Technologist performing diagnostic and potential interventional procedures per department protocols.
- Clinical environment: Typical direct patient care setting with lifting and standard precautions as required.
