Job Title: Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist – Travel Job (#446501)

Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by the client.
• Valid ASCP or AMT certification required.
• Laboratory licensure in the appropriate specialty when applicable to the state.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CLS, MLS, or Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital laboratory preferred.
• Experience performing clinical chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology testing preferred.
• Ability to work night laboratory operations and handle high-volume workflow preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior travel or per diem laboratory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic laboratory information systems (LIS) preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift: Night shift designated as NOC 8 (0000–2400 schedule referenced).
• Assignment location: Wexford, PA (hospital setting).
• 13 week assignment.
