Jackson HealthPros is hiring a Clinical / Medical Laboratory Scientist (formerly Medical Technologist) to perform diagnostic testing on patient samples and analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits to aid physicians in the diagnosis or monitoring of various disease states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field as required by individual clients.
• Valid ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification required.
• In licensure states, Laboratory Licensure in the appropriate specialty for the department or location assignment as applicable to the state.
• 1 year of experience as a CLS / MLS / Medical Technologist.
• BLS certification.
• Client-specific requirement: Experience with blood bank testing including typing, Rh, antibody screening, compatibility testing, and blood bank QC preferred.
• Client-specific requirement: Experience operating and troubleshooting chemistry, UA, hematology, and coagulation analyzers preferred.
• Client-specific requirement: Experience with venipuncture and daily quality control and maintenance procedures required.
• Client-specific requirement: Familiarity with Cerner EMR preferred.
• Preferred: Experience with serological, microbiology, and microscopic testing.

• Facility Type: Hospital.

• Shift Details: 12 Hour Shifts. Rotate if necessary.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
• Position Types Accepted: MT, MLT, or MLS.
