Job Title: Certified Surg Tech – Travel Job (#441048)

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program, or equivalent military surgical technologist program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience as a certified OR/Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting; minimum 2 years preferred.
• Familiarity with interpretation of preference cards and case cart completion required.
• Experience working under surgeon and RN supervision in the operating room environment preferred.
• Ability to ensure operating room equipment functions properly and maintain a safe O.R. environment.

Assignment Details:

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Flex Shifts.
• Shift Details: 40 hours, Variable Shift.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
